What does marcus.house do?
marcus.house is a multi-disciplinary design studio based in Dundee, Scotland, offering interior design, architecture, website design and identity design. Founded on architecture, it brings the design of spaces, websites and identities under one roof.

Where are you based, and do you work outside Scotland?
We’re based in Dundee and work with clients across Scotland, including Edinburgh and St Andrews, as well as London and further afield. Website and identity projects can be run entirely remotely, wherever you are.

Who do you work with?
Homeowners, founders and businesses of all sizes, from first-time buyers planning a home to established companies refreshing how they present themselves. Most of our clients care about quality and want their space, website and identity to reflect it.

How does a project start?
With the enquiry form, which takes a few minutes. From there, we arrange an introductory call to talk through your project, then send an outline proposal setting out the scope and costs.

Can you help if I’m not sure what I need yet?
Yes. Many projects start with an idea rather than a brief, and working out what you need is part of the first conversation.

Is my project too small?
Rarely. We’re a small studio, and smaller projects suit the way we work, from reworking a single room or refreshing an identity to a new website or building.

How much does a project cost?
It depends on the scope, which we agree after the introductory call. As a guide, websites start from £3,000 and identity projects from £2,000. Interior and architecture projects are priced individually once we understand what’s involved.

How long does a project take?
Most website and identity projects take one to three months. Interior and architecture projects vary with their scope and, where needed, the time approvals take.

Do I need to use all of your services?
No. Many clients come to us for a single service, and the scope is always shaped around what your project needs.

We keep the number of active projects small, so each one gets proper time and attention.
